Assignment Four: Motion

I focused on motion this week and used the family Border Collie, Gwyn, as my subject. It worked out quite well because she is absolutely crazy about the tennis ball! It was difficult to have the background blurred and Gwyn completely in focus mainly because she was moving so fast.

This is the photo that best represented the motion in the background...

ISO: 100
Aperture: f/10
Shutter: 1/60

I also liked this photo because she was in focus, but I didn't capture the background motion nearly as well. This one had a much faster shutter which allowed the picture to be more focused on the subject.

And here is the slideshow of the rest of my motion shots.

this is a really cool picture, i think the black and white makes it look even better. i like how the dog is fully in focus but the background makes it look like it's moving at a really fast pace.

your motion pictures are really good. you really got panning down well. it also looks really sweet how you put your main pictures in black and white, they look really well in black and white. great job!!

I really like this picture. The motion in this picture is great. Not to mention, the dog is really clear and focused. The black and white adds a cool effect also. Nice job!
